NO TIME LIKE PASSING TIME: A CONVERSATION WITH TEHCHING HSIEH

For those who are fans of the performance art legend, Hsieh Teh Ching or who caught the Taiwan Pavilion at Venice Biennale and wish to know more - One year living in a cage; another spent punching a time card every hour. One year living outside, followed by a year tied with a 2.5-meter rope to another person (Linda Montano).

Here's part 1 of the interview with Hsieh Teh Ching.

"....I had the most difficult month of my life when I came out of Cage Piece. I begged to live in a cage in the bedroom. I came back slowly, with great difficulty. When I finished a piece, there was a kind of depression, because you had to come back. If you could not come back, that meant you were lost. Returning to the accepted norm meant restarting your life again."

I simply cannot imagine what he had to go through. #hsiehtehching
